EBHF Workshop on Åland – A Cross-Border Dialogue for the Baltic Sea

On September 12, 2025, artist, NatGeo Explorer, photographer and filmmaker Mattias Klum will join a workshop in Mariehamn, Åland, focusing on ecosystem-based marine governance. Organized by EBHF and the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, the event brings together voices from Åland, Finland and Sweden to discuss marine protection, sustainable fisheries, and blue innovation.

The workshop follows the annual Coastal Waters Day and aims to strengthen cooperation across borders to protect the unique ecosystems of the Åland Sea.
