Mattias Klum Announced as Keynote Speaker at Society Expo 2026

February 3, 2026

Mattias Klum has been confirmed as one of the keynote speakers at Society Expo 2026, a major international event taking place in Skellefteå from May 27 to June 9.

Klum will participate in the knowledge program “Our Time on Earth” on June 5, alongside world-renowned climate scientist Johan Rockström, Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. Their joint lecture, titled “The Human Quest – Abundance Within Planetary Boundaries”, will explore how humanity can thrive while respecting the ecological limits of our planet.

Combining scientific insight with powerful imagery and storytelling, the program aims to inspire reflection and action in a time of rapid global transformation. It addresses one of the most pressing questions of our time: how we can reshape societies to ensure both prosperity and sustainability.

The lecture will be followed by a dialogue session and audience Q&A. It is free of charge and open to both the public and professional audiences. Tickets will be released on February 9 via www.se26.se
