Mattias Klum returns to the podcast “Så in i Själen”

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Mattias shares reflections on his global work across nature, culture, and environmental storytelling—from his beginnings as a full-time freelance photographer in 1986, to his groundbreaking National Geographic cover in 1997. Since then, he has worked as a photographer, filmmaker, and author, producing long-format documentaries and co-authoring 17 books alongside renowned scientists and thought leaders such as Professor Johan Rockström and Dr. Jane Goodall.

In the episode, Mattias also talks about his latest upcoming book project—set for release in 2026—which includes recent work in Brazil and collaborations with Professor Rockström and botanist Professor Alex Antonelli.
