Mattias Klum Speaks at HELMEPA’s International Conference at Posidonia 2026

Mattias Klum took part in HELMEPA’s international conference, Ocean Intelligence in MetaShipping: Biodiversity, People, Innovation, Investment, held as part of Posidonia 2026.

In his keynote address, Mattias explored the urgent need to protect the marine environment and highlighted the connections between biodiversity, people, innovation and long-term investment. His participation was supported by the Athina I. Martinou Foundation, with the aim of inspiring the conference’s diverse international audience to engage more deeply with ocean conservation.

The event also marked the beginning of a collaboration between HELMEPA and the Goulandris Natural History Museum, united by a shared commitment to protecting the sea. Mattias Klum is an Ambassador for the Goulandris Natural History Museum.
