January 20, 2025

OutThere.travel has published an article featuring the upcoming snow leopard expedition in Ladakh, India, where Mattias Klum will participate as a guide and photography mentor. The article, titled “Journeys With Purpose: Conservation Tour Provider to Host Rare Access Snow Leopard Trip”, highlights this 11-night journey planned for December 2025.

The expedition focuses on tracking snow leopards in their natural habitat while supporting conservation efforts. Guests will stay at the LUNGMĀR Remote Camp, a base in prime snow leopard territory, and take part in workshops led by Mattias and conservation expert Behzad J. Larry.

The trip combines photography, learning about local wildlife protection initiatives, and connecting with Ladakh’s communities, with part of the proceeds going to the High Asia Habitat Fund.
