May 19, 2026

Swedish Radio’s documentary series P3 has released a new episode about Dr. Jane Goodall, the pioneering researcher and global voice for compassion, science and the living planet.

The episode, titled “Jane Goodall – the chimpanzee woman who redefined humanity”, tells the story of Goodall’s groundbreaking work in Gombe, her lifelong dedication to chimpanzees, and the discoveries that changed the way we understand animals — and ourselves.

Mattias Klum contributes to the episode, which also features zoologist Ann Olivecrona. For Mattias, Jane Goodall was not only one of the most influential voices of our time, but also a dear friend.

Jane Goodall’s legacy continues to inspire people across the world to care for the living planet, to act with courage, and to never underestimate the power of hope paired with action.
