Mattias Klum Partners with Örebro University

February 2, 2024

Photographer and filmmaker Mattias Klum has partnered with Örebro University to promote sustainability. This collaboration focuses on inspiring students and staff towards sustainable use of Earth’s resources, showcasing it as an opportunity for economic development rather than a sacrifice. Klum, recognized by National Geographic as a key natural history photographer, brings his extensive experience in engaging narratives to the university setting.

The partnership aims to challenge perceptions of nature and resource conservation, leveraging Klum’s collaboration with scientists and his ability to connect with audiences beyond the already environmentally conscious. Örebro University’s rector, Johan Schnürer, emphasizes the university’s role in spreading research and knowledge for societal change, looking forward to impactful, research-based storytelling with Klum.
